Professional's Tip

“The tenth hole has one of the most difficult, and fast running, greens on the course; it's not unusual in the height of summer for players to putt off this green. Putting the ball from the wrong place on the green can make 2 putts almost impossible when the greens are fast, so place your approach shot carefully. Your tee shot will need to be left half of the fairway if you are to remain on it, as the fairway can be fast running left to right. A new fairway bunker has been placed on the upslope of the 'valley' on the right hand side at approx. 280 yards from the back tee. Take a good look where the flag is on the green before you walk into the valley that crosses this fairway as you will see nothing from the bottom.”
