Course Rules
  • All visitors must be in possession of a current handicap and be able to provide a handicap certificate when requested.
  • Mobile phones may NOT be used in, or around, the Clubhouse or on the Golf Course. Their use is restricted to the car park area. This rule is strictly enforced. They may be carried on the course, switched OFF, for the purpose of making outgoing emergency calls. (for more details see the policy document above)
  • Players must replace divots on the course, repair pitch marks on the greens and must rake bunkers after they have played their shots.
  • Any player using a pull trolley, powered trolley, or a motorised buggy must keep them at least 5 metres from all tees and greens.
  • Players should play without delay, and when the play of a hole has been completed, should immediately leave the putting green. A match failing to keep its place on the course and losing more than one clear hole on the players in front, should invite the following match to pass.

Directions to Northamptonshire County Golf Club

When exiting the M1 at Junction 16 (from both North or South):

When you exit the M1, turn on to the A4500 (Weedon Road) and follow this road until you come to a small roundabout (to your right you will see a petrol station). Follow the signs for Harlestone and turn left on to Sandy Lane.

Follow this road until you arrive at a junction with two mini roundabouts immediately side by side. Turn left at the first and right on the second/immediate junction (Please be careful as no sooner have you turned left and you are sat at the junction for the second roundabout). You should then be on ‘New Sandy Lane’.

Follow this road until you get to the large roundabout at the end and turn left to Harlestone.
Please note that as you enter the village there is a speed camera. Once you pass through the village and start to climb a hill you will need to take the turning to the right. This will take you to the village of Church Brampton.

As you enter the village of Church Brampton you will see the Church on the left and soon after a small red Letter box on a post. Immediately opposite the letter box is the turning on the right that you need to get onto Golf Lane (there is a small triangle of grass at the entrance to the lane). At the end of the lane is Northamptonshire County Golf Club.
